Privacy Policy

1. Information ForgeGether stores
ForgeGether stores information needed to operate accounts and Forges, including account identity details, login/security records, profile choices, Forge memberships and roles, posts and replies, messages, reactions, files, notifications, moderation records, tool data, and settings you choose to use.

2. Birthday and age eligibility
Your exact birth date is private account information used for platform and Forge age-eligibility checks. It is not shown on your public profile and is not disclosed to Forge Owners or Forge Moderators through normal Forge-management tools. Administrators may access or correct it when required for account administration.

3. Public and member-visible information
Information you intentionally publish on a public profile, Public Timeline post, or privacy-safe Public / Discoverable Forge page may be visible outside your private Forge memberships. Private, hidden, and disabled Forge content is not made public by Discovery or global search. Your visibility selections determine who can see supported profile and Timeline content.

4. Private Forge content
Private Forge posts, replies, courses, lessons, resources, chat, member information, and other protected Forge data are available only through Forge-specific authorization. Global platform search is not permitted to expose private Forge content across Forge boundaries.

5. Messages and moderation
Private messages are not routinely exposed as a general staff inbox. When a specific message is reported, authorized moderation staff may review the reported message and related report information for safety and moderation. Reports, blocks, and moderation actions create records needed to enforce platform rules.

6. Security and operational data
ForgeGether may record session identifiers, timestamps, IP addresses, device/browser information, authentication events, and diagnostic/audit records to secure accounts, investigate abuse, maintain service reliability, and troubleshoot the platform. Full security details are restricted according to administrative permissions.

7. Files and connected services
Uploads and generated files are stored to provide the features you use. Some optional features may connect to external services configured by the Administrator or Forge Owner. Information sent to a connected service is limited to what is needed for that requested feature and is also subject to that provider's privacy terms.

8. Data retention and deletion
Operational, security, moderation, backup, and legal-compliance records may be retained for reasonable periods even after ordinary content is removed. Deleting an account or Forge may not instantly remove information from protected backups; backup copies expire according to the platform's retention process.

9. Protecting your information
Use a strong unique password, enable available security features, and do not place passwords, API keys, financial credentials, or other secrets in posts, messages, forms, Forge tools, or AI prompts. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Policy changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated as ForgeGether changes. When a revision requires renewed acceptance, affected members will be asked to accept the current policy before continuing to protected account features.
